Lucky Ducklings Forest Preschool
Play. Learn. Grow.
This class meets for three days between Monday and Thursday (each family selects their consistent 3 week days) from 9:00am to 12:30pm.
This play-based, nurturing program is rich in outdoor immersion, storytelling, art, and movement. Children will learn social skills in a small group focused on healthy attachment and autonomy in a natural environment that inspires wonder.
Ideal for families with extended care needs, or for older preschoolers preparing for kindergarten, this class meets from Monday-Thursday from 9am-12:30pm. Children are academically and socially engaged by outdoor immersion and the opportunity to build self-trust and wonder in nature. They are guided in their learning through play and storytelling with ample opportunities for both gross and fine motor development, as well as art and music.
Early childhood is a time filled with wonder, creative ideas, and exploration. Lucky Ducklings honors the whole child and the unique spark that exists in each and every one. We allow children to be children by letting them investigate their ideas, make messes, play outdoors, and exposing them to stories and art that inspire. We'd love for you to join us in the important work of play!
What Parents Think
"Teacher Heather learns the heart of every child she works with. She creates a culturally responsive environment that allows each child to grow and develop in their own way. She fosters connections and positive social relationships. My daughter is happy to go to school every day. We feel very blessed to have found Lucky Ducklings."
